Several planetariums are found in the Front Range, allowing the nighttime to be examined at the Sommer Bausch Observatory and the Discovery Science Center. Higher education is well represented in the region as well, with Colorado State University in Fort Collins and the University of Northern Colorado in nearby Greeley.
