Friday evenings, Saturdays and select Tuesdays, the Fiske Planetarium/Sommer Bausch Observatory offers classes, observation sessions and laser shows. Class topics include the formation of the solar system, galaxies, black holes and extra-terrestrials while the laser shows are set to music provided by such artists as Pink Floyd, the Beatles and Bob Marley.
